STEP 3: Call or email for an estimate
We can usually provide a ballpark estimate over the phone. A schedule and written estimate will follow within two business days. Rush and double-rush service is available when schedules permit.
STEP 4: Submit author materials
Organize and prepare your materials to email or for upload to a cloud server.
Strategic Planning: Submit project proposal including general description, target audience, target market, key selling points, competitive titles, table of contents, and author bio.
Editorial: Submit manuscript in MS Word including graphics with caption copy; front matter including table of contents, dedication, copyright information, foreword or preface, and ISBN if required; back matter including endnotes, bibliography, index, author bio(s), and advertising; and front and back cover text.
Studio Production: Submit final edited and proofread manuscript including all front and back matter for interior page design and layout; photos and graphics for retouching; file sizing and optimization; flight-check for front cover, back cover and spine; and hard-copy proofing as required.
Print Management: Submit interior page and cover pre-flighted files, format specifications, quantities, and delivery information.
Marketing: Submit your marketing objectives including biographical information and budget.
